好大一「片」　澳洲海灘現巨型水母

澳洲塔斯馬尼亞省(Tasmania) 南部一海灘，發現一巨型水母被沖上海灘，當地民眾發現後通報當局，海洋生物學家格許溫(Lisa Gershwin)表示這種巨型水母不是第一次出現，但體型這麼大而且還出現在海灘上的倒是第一次看見，「我們知道有這種生物，但它還沒被分類，也還沒被命名，雖然體型龐大，但牠並不危險只是可能會被牠螫傷」。

現在當局已經蒐集到足夠的樣本，可以進行分析並為這龐然大物命名，不過對於牠的習性如何維生繁殖等都還是待解答的問題。（周佩萱／綜合外電報導）
